[07 Sep 2009|05:58pm] emily anne fitzroy from the very beginning, emily was a curious child, always wanting to know more about the world. she'd constantly bug her parents and ask them "why?" about everything. while her parents were thrilled that their daughter was so interested in the world and how things worked, she wore them out and at times, her curiosity intimidated them. unlike most little girls her age, emily enjoyed reading and going to museums. when she and her mother visited new york, emily was completely enthralled by the natural history museum and spent the entire day running from exhibit to exhibit in complete awe. for john fitzroy and his wife, sarah gardener-fitzroy, their life together was all part of a plan that was set into action during their meeting in college. their story began in a not-so-interesting way...they were set up by mutual friends and met at a restaurant for dinner. sarah was a sophomore at upenn and she was studying education and john was a senior at upenn and he was studying law. from the very first conversation, john and sarah knew that it was meant to be. they had similar aspirations; john wanted to run his own law firm and sarah wanted to teach and then stay at home with the kids. so, when sarah graduated two years later, the couple tied the knot and began setting out to fulfill their dream. sarah began teaching while john attended law school and for the first few years of their marriage, everything was perfect. eventually their plan of starting a family was set into motion and lenox fitzroy was born, making the couple first-time parents. the plan was for sarah to stay home with the new baby and then once he was old enough to start attending school, she'd go back to work until the next one was born. however, once lenox began school and sarah went back to work, she began to realize just how much she'd missed teaching. deciding that she didn't want another baby for a while, she told john that she wanted to wait for a while before adding to their family. however, emily would not wait for her mother's plan. merely a year after settling into her job, sarah realized that she was once again expecting. this time, the pregnancy had been unplanned and it was not a part of "the plan" that they had. emily anne was born that march and baby made four. • born on march 3rd, 1983 ; is twenty-six years old. • goes by emmy or em and the only time she is ever called emily anne is when she is in trouble. • is in her final year of law school at upenn. • is nearly nine months pregnant with jz's baby who is due in early october. • is a "shoe-in" for a spot at richard a. leven & associates when she graduates. • currently works part-time as the secretary at a law firm and is enjoying the work. • has a three year old cocker spaniel golden retriever mix named lucy. • has been a vegetarian since high school and hasn't had a bite of meat since she was seventeen-years-old. • is the middle of three children; has an older brother (lenox) and a younger sister. • her three best girlfriends are heartclock, huntington, and sanson • enjoys watching tlc, the discovery channel, and animal planet. aside from that, she doesn't watch much television. post comment
